Turning a Negative into a Positive!

January 2014

Go back 6 months, we’ve just completed our A-levels and Charlotte is celebrating her 18th birthday - a young adult, freedom and endless fun ahead! Looking back at the months leading up to Charlotte’s diagnosis, her health was deteriorating and despite numerous visits to the doctors she was given no answers. Eventually, Charlotte was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, a worrying time for her friends and family as she came to terms with managing this lifelong condition while also wanting to enjoy the care-free life of an 18 year old. In September 2014, Charlotte started studying Bags and Accessories at London College of Fashion where she used her creative talent to design beautiful bespoke leather goods equipped for diabetic equipment.

Fast forward 5 years, it’s September 2019, Charlotte has graduated with a first class honours and successfully started her own business. We frequently enjoy wild nights out and Charlotte’s bespoke bags always accompany us. This is just the beginning for CWJ London and we are immensely proud of everything she has achieved! We feel privileged to have been a part of this journey and we can’t wait to see what lies ahead!

At the end of this month, a team of us are completing the Diabetes UK London Bridges Challenge to help raise money! This charity is close to our companies heart and we hope you all will help us raise money and donate to this life changing cause! To celebrate this amazing charity, 10% of orders this month will be donated to Diabetes UK. Thank you for your support!
