The concept of the brand was born when the brands Founder was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 18. This all happened just before charlotte started her degree in fashion bags and accessories at London College of Fashion. “It was as though it was all meant to be. I was suddenly learning about designing, developing and making bags and I was also at the same time facing a dilemma of trying to carry my diabetic equipment with me in different bags. Anything I found that would fit my bag was most definitely not small, and if I wanted small, I had to sacrifice the material, and aesthetic for a basic boring but functional medical bag.

I want fashion, craft and function all in one.”

Charlotte arrived to the conclusion that the bags on offer in industry simply weren’t enough, she herself struggled to find bags that pushed the boundaries but were also fit for purpose, especially for diabetic equipment. Through experiencing these frustrations, Charlottes' passion and vision for the brand began.

"Starting my own brand is a dream come true! While studying BA (Hons) Cordwainers Fashion Bags and Accessories at London College of Fashion I was able to experiment and start to realise the concept of my brand."

Charlotte has always been interested in design. After achieving her A-Levels she went on to do a years foundation diploma in Art and Design where she was pushed in to all areas of art and design helping her to expand her knowledge and skills. She then went to London college of fashion where she studied Ba (Hons) Cordwainers Fashion Bags and Accessories for four years, while also completing a year in industry. While in her final year at London College of Fashion Charlotte was shortlisted for the 2018 Cordwainers Dato’ Jimmy Choo award. Charlotte Graduated with a first class honors and has worked two years in industry before starting up the brand.
